With baccalaureate and Master Degrees in engineering from the University of Kentucky I chose to stay in the beautiful Bluegrass State. I thought then and still think that the Lexington area is a wonderful place to raise a family and grow professionally. My three adult children are testament to that; all professionals, with advanced degrees in Architecture, Engineering, and Law. Once again I found myself making an important life decision upon retirement from my engineering career. With the start of a new one in retirement, I realize even more the value and enjoyment of working as an Environmental Scientist Consultant assisting State Agencies (public servants) with their property/land acquisitions, project management in building constructions/renovations, and demolition projects.
Real Estate offers me the opportunity of continuing to assist the public with my skills and services. As a professional engineer (PE), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and an EPA licensed building inspector and planner manager, my experience is well suited with real estate client services. My wife and I own a farm in Woodford County, so I am attuned to the hard work involved in operating a farm as well. Hard work is essential in assisting buyers and sellers, offering them the best deal they can possibly achieve in one of life’s most important financial transactions.
