About Me
Meet Tom Biederman, the owner, broker, and principal auctioneer at Biederman Real Estate and Auctioneers. Tom grew up on a 700-acre farm in Springfield, Kentucky, where his family raised American Saddlebred horses, cattle, and tobacco.
Tom’s passion for serving and helping his community and customers buy and sell their perfect properties stems from his grandfather, Ben Hale, Sr., who was a real estate broker. Tom followed in his footsteps and studied Real Estate and Business at the University of Kentucky.
During college, Tom learned the trade of selling real estate and horses at Swinebroad-Denton, Inc. He even assisted in the sales of Calumet and Spendthrift Farms sePng the pace to become central Kentucky’s leading broker of one of kind horse farms and agricultural properties. Beginning in his early twenties, Tom started working with several national thoroughbred auction companies, and has been a Senior Auctioneer at Fasig-Tipton, America’s oldest thoroughbred auction company for over 25 years.
In 1994, as a young entrepreneur, Tom launched his own business and has been thriving ever since. At Biederman Real Estate and Auctioneers, their motto is “We Get It Done,” which means Tom and his team always go the extra mile to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
Tom is active in his church and regularly serves the non-profit community in central Kentucky as an “Auctioneer Volunteer” lending his expert Auctioneering and Master of Ceremony skills to conduct auctions and fundraisers benefitting local and national charities including schools, medical research, the arts and various other charities. In fact, every time Biederman Real Estate and Auctioneers closes on an equine related transaction, they make a meaningful donation to Thoroughbred Charities of America.
A former member of the Kentucky Real Estate Commission form 2015 through 2018, Tom resides with his wife, Lisa and their four-legged friends on a farm in Versailles, Kentucky.
