West Osborn is a licensed sales associate with Biederman Real Estate and Auctioneers. From Charlotte, North Carolina, West has a strong background in the equestrian world having started competing in hunter jumpers when he was 11 years old. At 14 years old, he purchased his first horse, Leah, who he began show jumping with.
West made his first trip to Kentucky in 2011 to attend the Kentucky Three-Day Event
and fell in love with the Bluegrass. He decided he wanted to call Kentucky his home and in 2014, West left the Carolinas to attend Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. He studied Environmental Science and Economics while also earning a distinguishment in the Equine Scholars program and competing with the Georgetown College IHSA Equestrian Team.
After graduating in 2018, West decided to move to Lexington and follow in his father’s footsteps, obtaining his real estate license. West is proud to combine his equine background with real estate, specializing in equestrian properties, rural land, and residential properties all over Central Kentucky.
In addition to real estate, West has continued to be involved in his community, serving on the Georgetown College Alumni Board and is an Executive Committee member of the Board of Directors of Equestrian Events Inc., where he helps facilitate the running of the Kentucky Three-Day Event. He has also continued his endeavors in show jumping with his German Warmblood “Venny”.
