On June 16, 2026 a devastating barn fire at the Saratoga Casino Hotel harness track in Saratoga Springs, NY claimed the lives of 17 horses. Kentucky Derby winning trainer Cherie DeVaux has deep roots in the Saratoga Springs Standardbred community and felt called to help the victims of this tragedy rebuild. She created the Reins of Hope 2026 Auction and called upon the racing community for help, which resulted in the generously donated items you see here. All proceeds from this auction will go to help the victims of this tragic fire. All funds will be paid to and distributed through Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program (501c3).
